New to the New York scene Luis Ascencio (A.K.A LGR) is not a stranger when it comes to electronic music. Based on Brooklyn, NY, he is a producer and DJ who creates and crafts his own spin on techno and minimal.
Born and raised in Mexico he spent many nights in the legendary club called Bar Americas located In Guadalajara, Mexico. From a young age he learned the craft of the “DJ” from a pool of great artists in the underground scene.
As a DJ he has shared the decks with names like Luis Flores, Alex Di Stefano, Norbert Davenport and Gabriel Sordo. His style in the booth is always full of energy with dark and haunting moods.
LGR’s productions are packed with unique textures and sounds in the darker side of the spectrum. As a result his tracks work great in any warehouse party or venue with a similar setup.
These days the LGR project is focused on a live set with analog machines. We will soon bring you more info for where to see it in action.
