Austria based producer Simon Sampler strikes back with his first release on the label for 2017, the ‘Safeless EP’. It’s 2 tracks that encompass the best parts of groove laden techno.

‘Safeless’ is a real stomper; huge drums undercut with a thick analog bass line bringing a smattering of filth to it. Sequenced blips and bleeps take us for the ride through this journey but make no mistake, there’s soul in the machine here and the sounds never get to be too overbearingly mechanical. It’ll satisfy tech-house and techno fans alike as it straddles the line of both genres perfectly.

‘Unda Ground’ dials down the energy just a bit but carries some of the same characteristics of the previous track. Funky, fun, and a little twisted, smoldering dirty low end and tight drum programming drive this one, and in conjunction with off-kilter synth riffs and vocals, it gives the piece an overall edgy, meaty sound. Top quality stuff.

Simon is continuously creating quality music and we’re really happy to be putting this record out.
