Ukrainian producers the Brocartel strike back with a vengeance on their new single ‘The Grandmother Pie’. Funny enough, there’s some real irony in the title in that there’s very little that’s sugary about it – it’s a dirty, groovy, funky tech house jam that will get people really moving.

The original version is one of those pieces that will instantly pique the ears of dance floor revelers. A main vocal sample plays over the tough beats, and a wickedly filthy bass line really drives it along, and random percussive elements with pads dip in and out; all micro programmed for maximum effect.

Label captains, Deep Woods and Eric Shans also give their own take on the track. ‘Eric’s Cherry Custard Remix’ adds some spooky atmospheres to the offering with his own unmistakable dirtiness as well, and Mr. Woods offers a bit more energy in his remix, guaranteed to light the fire higher in the clubs where ‘The Grandmother Pie’ gets cooked.

Our last release of 2016 and it’s a great one. Don’t miss out on it.
