Rick Wade, one of our favorite producers across the board comes into 2017 with another release on the label. Originally slated for last year, but out now, ‘Old Tech’ is a rock solid house jam, replete with dubbed chords, racing hi hats, and supreme grooves to get a dance floor shaking. There’s some old school techno flavor, along with Chicago house, and it’s everything we’d expect from Mr. Wade, a known staple in the electronic music world. Label co-captain, Eric Shans also does his take on the track, adding a bit of a different melodic flavor to the proceedings while keeping the energy and flow of the original intact. Smooth, pretty pads decorate the crisp hi hats, while a big kick drum and fat bass line drive the shuffling percussion. The start of 2017 has 3Bridge Records looking bright.
