We welcome another addition to the 3Bridge family, NYC DJ and producer Weston Butler. His EP ‘Broken Path’ is a gem and we’re happy to be putting it out.

Slight progressive undertones highlight the title track with melodic synths cascading over each other while sharp claps and hats provide the metronome to euphoric highs and lows throughout. Echoed voices smattered with delay swim under the surface, coming up for air every so often. There’s shadows of the progressive sound of yesteryear and pays homage to tracks heard on the older Renaissance and Global Underground compilations.

‘Angie’ follows a similar format, but the dreaminess is taken up a notch. The track builds up with beautiful layers of synth pads and leads. You could picture hearing this at a sunrise on the beach, or that final track in the morning at a party where everyone has danced the night away and maybe even have fallen in and out of love. It’s a fitting closer and brings the point of the title of the EP home; it’s as if you’ve might have found your way at the end of your journey.

Don’t miss this EP, it’s something special. Look for more from this up-and-coming producer.
