To kick off 2016, we present Deep Woods’ latest release ‘Chaotic’. As winter descends upon us, this track will comfort you with its warm blankets of choirs, spoken word samples, melodic washes of synths, and smooth percussion. Mysterious and mythical, it’s a superb piece of work that’d fit into a DJ’s set at any point of the night or day, as well as being an imaginary soundtrack to a fantasy film. Eric Shans’ version takes the celestial, atmospheric nature of the original and drives it a bit harder, layering the elements on top of a huge bass line and crunchy drums to give it a huge peak hour feel. It’ll get people moving and shaking while looking for the sunlight poking through the glass in the early sunrise of the morning or those flickers of illuminating LEDs in a dark warehouse or club. This release should be in any music connoisseur’s collection.
