We’re happy to have Gatto (aka Frank Jackson) with his first release on the label this year. His new EP ‘Warriors’ pays homage to the older days of New York City ( where the 3Bridge is based) and does so in a high quality way.

‘Crossing The Bridge’ starts this EP off racing out of the gate. Fat dub chords with incredibly groovy patterns and drums are the main ingredients here along with ride cymbals, and fast paced hi hats adding the accents to the track. It makes this a really playable jam any time of the night or day.

Next track ‘Da Bronx’ kicks off with a funky, live sounding huge bass line that’s replete with tight danceable percussion and grooves. Repeated vocal chants give it a throwback deep house feel and you picture yourself traveling on the rumbling subway through the streets while the beats pump through your speakers or headphones.

‘We The People’ slows down the pace a bit with soft pads and synth lines while drum sounds pack a meaty punch. Both versions are a great closer to a wonderful EP.
