The duo of Gianni Ruocco and Le Roi Carmona are back on 3Bridge with their new single ‘Zabriskie Point’ and like their last release, it features a remix by label head Eric Shans.
The original mix is a straight ahead melodic house groover.. A pizzicato type lead takes the track at the helms guiding us through the melodic structure. Beefy kick drums and tough bass lines provide a bit of a rugged undercurrent similar to the landscape at Zabriskie Point, while the overall energy level of the track keeps things at a pumping pace.
The ‘Eric Shans Above The Valley Remix’ adds a bit of layering to the chord progression with big strings, pads, and percussion. It’s appropriately named as it’s as if one is floating above the hot depths of the Death Valley (Zabriskie Point) terrain. It’s almost has a soundtrack type quality that is moving and majestic.
On a beach, in a club, or an intimate setting, this single would work for every scenario. Don’t miss it.
