Eric Shans’ latest EP comes right in time for your summer days and nights. Never afraid to push the infinite possibilities of electronic music, both tracks here stand out on their own, with funky, groovy sounds that provide a canopy of warmth and melody.
The title track’s main elements slowly build over time as the piece moves along. A soulful vocal repeats, pads and strings crescendo in and out, all while cascading over sultry beats and bass lines that strike through the listener’s heart. This is sure to capture people’s ears that appreciate the softer, dreamier side of house music.
“Behind Feelings” also takes a similar stance, toughening up on the drums just a little, all while maintaining an ethereal, yet danceable atmosphere. Fat bottom end, shimmering synths, and a catchy vocal will make the beach sun even brighter, that poolside cocktail taste even better, or it might even capture a memorable moment inside of a dark club.
